The Project portal is a great place to get started. If you are interested in helping the site grow, we would welcome and greatly appreciate your assistance. Eventually we'd love for the site to cover all things Ibanez, not only instruments, but also amps, electronics, and accessories, but non-instrument coverage is on the back burner for now. Our intention is to extend and expand this coverage as time allows. We are beginning to expand the scope to encompass every Ibanez instrument including basses and acoustics but full coverage of these instrument types is available only back to 2015. Nearly complete coverage of hollow and semi-hollow body electric guitars also extends back through 1978. The main focus of the site is solid body electric guitars sold by Ibanez since 1978 this area is covered comprehensively. If you have something to add to the site, please feel free to do so. Up for sale is another of my long term players - a 1990 Ibanez Universe Green Dot 7 string guitar. As a wiki, all content on this site is generated by users. I've kept this guitar around because of the neck - check out the photos. Big original frets and a beautiful piece of rosewood really set this neck above some others in terms of feel and playability. The Music Zoo is an Authorized Ibanez Dealer Shop for your Ibanez Guitar on our site now, or visit our showroom on Long Island, New York Ibanez is a brand that has been a mainstay in the world of guitars since being founded by the Hoshino Gakki company in 1908. The guitar itself has some dings and scratches so please review all the photos and bid/buy accordingly. Ibanez has been a go-to brand for players who need their instrument be depended on. Also note that the bridge pickup has a little piece of plastic broken off of it. I have no idea how this happened and it came to me like this, but the pickup sounds great so I never considered replacing it. The original knobs were long gone so I bought an aftermarket set right here on Reverb and while they're not as dark green as the originals, they do the job. From a few feet away it will look like you spent north of $3K on this guitar but it can be had for quite a bit less. If you're looking for a green dot UV you can play without fear of devaluing it, here is your guitar. It was just professionally set up with 10 gauge Ernie Balls tuned 1/2 step down and cleaned so there is no finger gunk or other nastiness so many used guitars arrive with. This guitar will ship in an original Ibanez pink-lined case in OK condition, but there was a big piece of pleather replaced on the top (see photos). The inside is a nice shade of pink and it doesn't smell like rotten beer or a 2AM closing time mistake. I think this is actually an Ibanez Jem case but it fits this Universe fine. The locking latch is missing the male end but you can find that for sale online and repair it. The lock was never set and still contains the original red pin from when it was new. Shipping will be $95 in the continental USA and sorry, USA sales only. Please ask all questions in advance and make sure you follow my shred guitar collection on Instagram under gilaguitars - lots of cool stuff has been posted and more will be shortly.
